I'm in shock

They just called and I have a surgery date!! October 3.  I'm sitting here crying and laughing and I dont think I can catch my breath!  Initialy the Doc had told me a 4 week liquid diet pre op, but the nurse double checked and it only going to be 2 weeks.  I'm shaking!  I don't know whether I am happy or scared to death.  Just pray for me, please.  Thanks so much. Hi Kim, congradulations.  I know you are excited.  I have my thighs done the day before your surgery, so I will keep you on my prayer list.  What hospital will you be at?  I'll be at the VA Medical Center in Nashville.  I hope they don't keep me like they did when they did my tummy tuck.  If I am able, I will try and be there for you, if not then in spirit.  May God travel with you on this new and exciting journey.

I wish you the best come Oct. 2.  You will be shocked at how great you will feel when the weight just starts coming off.  Are you lapband or RNY?  I can't remember.  You will love the new you as you start shedding those unwanted pounds. I've lost another person, so there's room on my bench for losers.  You're in my prayers as your day approaches, that all will go smoothly and for a speedy recovery.
