One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.

So, I have begun moving towards that new destination……I can’t say I’m not looking forward to the surgery….it’s just those fears….the same anxious feelings that occur when you’re preparing for a trip, new job, wearing that new pair of shoes for the first time. My fantasies have become more realistic or toned down…which in itself is very positive.

I have most everything lined up…my bag packed….living will signed….old food out new food in….Five days and counting …..Pre-testing is 9/6…

I am sooo proud of you and for you! I am one week post op today !! You can do it. Believe me, my emotions were like a rollercoaster... but when the big day got there... I was like YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS... Now, every day I say, "Thank you Lord, that I was one of the very blessed ones to have my Lap Band." I pray your surgery goes as smooth, or even smoother than mine did. I have lost 16.5 pounds in 3 weeks! That's a wow moment for me. Some lose even more... I am hard to lose weight..and still wow! I have had shoulder pain, so if you do, don't worry, it's gas most likely. Mine is getting better. Heat really makes it stop well. hugs and YOU GO!!!!

This is your Time.... Find peace in knowing who you are and your priorities. Be optimistic about moving towards that new destination,

Do what you have to do, you can do, you can change everything and anything. I believe in you and your vision for tomorrow.

“Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday”
