My fantastic mistake
Last night hubby and I popped into Goodys and found him some dress pants for 9.98 and i picked up a pair of jean capris which the tag on the hanger said 14. i did not try these on as he was getting that impatient male shopper look and I'd already tried on one pair of jeans and they were too big, so I thought i was being safe grabbing these as they were 80% off. Anyway, if they didn't fit, I could always return them, right?
We went food shopping after that so the bag didn't make it out of the car until this morning and I thought I'd try them on. Got them up to the hips and had to kinda tuck my belly in (GOD WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE FOR A TUMMY TUCK) but they closed fine and really are not that snug, so I decided to go on and wear them today. I reach back to pull the paper tag off the back pf the jeans and then I took a good look at it. These capris are a size 10, not a 14 like the hanger said and I actually got them on. I have to admit doing the happy dance in my living room.
I know I don't really post here often, but this is just one of those wow moments normal folks don't understand.
