Does anyone know of a good substitute for AO...until they make some more, I need to find a different protien drink.

I like the Nectar Cappuccino powder. I order it from bariatriceating.com. I mix 1 scoop into my morning cappuccino to up the protein. You could put it into a regular coffee along with some SF Da Vinci and some milk. Mix some cool liquid, either the syrup, water or milk, with the powder to make a paste before adding the hot coffee and make sure the hot liquids are no hotter than what comes out of a drip coffee maker or the protein will curdle. I also make my own frappuccino with the Nectar. I use 1/2 cup coffee that has cooled (great use for leftover coffee), 5 or 6 ice cubes, 4 pumps SF Da Vinci (1 oz), Splenda to taste, 1/4 cup milk or mice milk, and 1 scoop Nectar. Give it a whirl in the Magic Bullet and enjoy. I would just bet you could mix this up the night before and put in a sealed bottle in the fridge. That way you could grab & go in the morning if you needed to. I know that's one thing I love about the AO, it's so handy to grab on my way out the door. If you want to try the Nectar before you buy a jug, I can bring you a scoop or 2 to the support group meeting Tuesday or to lunch on Saturday. Susan

I do a similiar concoction....but I use the instant coffee singles with skim milk, splenda and sugarfree flavored creamer.  I add ice because I like mine colder.

I forgot the protein in the post, not the drink.  I also sometimes use sugar-free cholocate syrup, almond extract or Divinci's just to mix things up some.

I use either a couple of shots of espresso or an 8 oz. cup of dark roast Starbucks coffee with about 10 ice cubes, 2 tablespoons of Hazelnut sugarfree creamer, and a scoop of Matrix Perfect Chocolate.  Shake it up and store in the fridge until you are ready for it.  You can also add a little DaVinci Chocolate Sauce.  Yum!  My favorite! Matrix and Da Vinci are both available from bariatriceating.com The Matrix Perfect Chocolate makes an awesome high protein hot chocolate when mixed with ho****er. First mix in enough cold water to make a paste and then add your hot, not boiling, water. Remember, if the warm liquid you add is too hot it will curdle the protein. Curdled protein is so nasty. Kind of like shredded cardboard. yecch!

I'm loving the Worldwide Protein drinks. They're ready to drink. The chocolate flavor really tastes like a yoohoo or chocolate milk. I stopped drinking the AO b/c I was wanting to start limiting my caffeine intake.

You can find these at www.bariatriceating.com or few a few bucks cheaper at www.netrition.com and they only charge $4.99 shipping for your entire order, no matter how large or heavy.
