Gastric Band Institute in Chattanooga

Just wondering if anyone had used Dr Paynter??  I was considering a lap band and did a seminar with him. 

I'm not familiar with Dr. Paynter. But, welcome to the Tennessee forum.  I'm sure someone will come along who can help you with him. Have you visited the Lab Band forum to see if someone there can help? Don't leave the TN forum, we're willing to share you with other forums.

Welcome to the TN board! I'm in the Chattanooga area (Cleveland) and have heard of Dr. Paynter.  Is he one of the docs practicing with Dr. Ponce?  If so, you may have more luck asking about him on the GA board, as Dr. Ponce's mian practice is in Dalton.  (I could be wrong, but I thought that he did practice with him.) I plan on using Dr. Rutledge.  He operates in Memorial and has his office over on Gunbarrel Rd.  I had seen him a couple of years back and absolutely adored him.  A wonderful gentleman and the perfect bedside manner.  Very informative and thorough and sweet.   My seminar is scheduled at Memorial this coming Wednesday.  I look forward to re-starting my Lap Band journey! Let me know if you need anything... we're practically neighbors, dear. 

Yes he is with Dr Ponce's practice.  I went to a seminar on Aug 14th but haven't gotten to schedule my consultation yet.  I am gonna be self pay, unfortunately, and I got a better price from their practice than I have from anyone closer to me....So what's a couple of hours on the road and some great shopping!!!!!  Good luck and let me know how it goes for you.

Thank you for the welcome.  I have been on the Lap Band forum and am getting some responses from different ones.  And don't worry I jump from Forum to Forum.  This is so informative.  I love it.  I'm getting so many questions answered that I haven't even thought to ask....
