help

I had my surgery in Boston.....moved to Memphis....having issues with the drs here seeing me for followups...most drs do not want to see another surgeons patient....... I have not really been seen since surgery in 2001. I did go to a dr in Memphis and will not name this person but the treatment I got was sh*tty!!! They did not weigh me.....asked me if I had any problems...when I said no they replied with "ok get blood drawn have a good day". I went back to my gyno he drew the blood told me my thyroid was off.....wait 6 months and draw again......ok he moved....had another dr draw it and she says the thyroid corrected itself. Can any one here help me get seen? I could go back to the surgeon I seen *****ally did not want to see me, but I do not want to be treated like crap again and rushed out. All they had were my medical records....no record of my current weight....nothing current. Maybe I should give them another chance.....I dunno. Memphis is closer than Little Rock. Please advise. Hi Tammy,   I am seeing (not approved yet) Dr. Atul Madan (901-448-6635) and some other girls really like Dr. Virginia Weaver (901-765-3040) They are both in Memphis. A new doctor may be scared of taking another doctors problems. Maybe you should let them know when you call that you have no problems. (Or do you) Good luck.  Ellen
