Purees--Can I have a smoothie??
Be very careful of the fruit. Have you had any fruit at all since surgery?
Explain to them that your smoothie must be low carb or you will get very sick. That may make them be more careful with what they put in it. Other than that, I say try a little bit of one.
You can always get the Gladiator powder and make your own at home. I do this because Smoothie King is out of my way when I'm heading to work.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
I had one pre op. The protein was too high for one meal, 42 grams.
So I asked for one scoop instead of two.
I told them I was going to get LB soon.
You can request real fruit. I had blueberries..yum... and they have a card to punch, so after 10 you get a free one!
I had added women's immunity added.
I lost 13 lbs pre op... and I had one each week.
They do not list the sugar content on their website for the smoothies. That is what you need to be weary of. You are so new post-op that even fruit sugars can cause dumping. I would find out how much sugar they have in them before ever trying them this early out. I do not believe you are supposed to go over 13 grams. so check it out and then if it is under that, then you might could try it. But that is just my opinion.

Bless your heart...I would buy the powder and make it myself. I had one about three weeks out...sick as a dog...that was me. I bought some of the vanilla Gladiator powder and I love it! Chance the store made if you are brave but I vote NO! Make it yourself.
I use about a half cup of water, 13 ice cubes, 1 1/2 scoops protein powder, 1 inch of ripe banana, 1 fresh strawberry and a couple or 3 pkts. of Splenda. Yummy! Good Luck!
