Can anyone give me a heads up on Doc Frye’s psych examination?

My appointment is next Tuesday.

LONG!! It took me three hours.  Lots of questions to answer on paper and then some talk.  No problems and the lady is very nice. Kim

I had my psych evaluation on Wednesday, the 15th.  It did take quite a bit of time to take, but aside from some stupid questions, it was pretty straightforward.  I had two different checklist type assessments to take independently one dealt with personal issues past and present and the other was more directly associated to how I reacted to medical stuff.  I went back to the waiting room after I finished those until the doctor was ready to talk with me.  She was very kind and concerned.  We talked about the results of the assessments I had taken, discussed areas where she thought I might have some stumbling blocks post-op, but the whole process was nothing to stress about.  I am kind of one of those open book people, so I didn't stress about it at all.  Perhaps I should have, but I am who I am.  My appointment was at 12 and I didn't finish until about 3.  I wish you the best of luck.

It is just long and time consuming.  You will be asked the same questions in different ways.  Just carry some patience with you and you will be fine. Good Luck, Darlene
