I had a virus

I have been so terribly sick these past few days... It started late Weds. evening... I had terrible diarrhea... the worst I have had in my life, but we will not go there!  Gross.  Anyway, it kept me up every hour on the hour Thursday night running to the bathroom.  I called Dr. H's office Friday morning and he said it was a virus, to do immodium and dilute gatorade and make sure I got in the fluids OR ELSE I WOULD GO TO THE HOSPITAL.  Well you know that I dont want anything to hinder my Thursday plastic surgery... so I have forced those liquids down!   I am feeling much better today, still twinges in my tummy but am able to finally eat something without fear of losing it.  So if ya'll get the diarrhea, headache, dizziness, its probably a virus.  Best check in with the doc.

Hey Sweetie,            I hate that you have not been feeling well and had to go through this, but you mentioned surgery on Thursday, does this mean they are not making you wait until Sept like you thought? Hope you are doing much better,  Shelia

Sorry to hear you hadn't been feeling well Melinda! Though I am glad it wasn't very serious.

Keep pushing those liquids and you probably need to up your protein for your upcoming sugery as well. I've read that people have an easier recovery by upping their protein intake prior. It helps with healing. I'll be thinking of you Thursday!

So this is what was going on Wed. when you left early?  Man, I was hoping you were just tired...but at least this happened last week and get it over with instead of this week, the day before surgery.  That would be a disaster...anyway, I'm thinking about you and will talk to you soon.  I go back to Dr. Hubbard Wednesday morning so I'll call you that afternoon.

Mel sweetheart, you lose anymore and like me the wind will blow you away.  I get dizzy, headache, queasy, diarrea daily and it's not a virus that's going to go away.  I wish but no chance.  They haven't found a cure for Leukemia or Meniers Ear Disease.  So glad you are feeling better and praying your surgery will be smoother for you.  I love ya, and still remember the day we met.  It was a happy one.
