I know you all have seen this question a thousand times, but I need suggestions related to constipation. What is good to take. I had surgery on August 6, 2007. Thanks Will

Dr. Spaw says we can take Milk of Magnesia this early out. If that doesn't give you relief, call the clinic before taking anything stronger.

Hi Will! Good to see your back and posting!  Make sure to drink plenty of just good ole plain water and get the 30 minutes of walking in.  Personally, with that much fluid and walking...my poor bowels didn't have a chance!

Good Luck!!! Freddie

Okay, I know this won't be your favorite suggestion, but it was the ONLY thing that worked for me.  MOM did not help me...but, a good old Fleet enema did the trick.  I keep at least one on had at all times now. Hope you get some relief soon!

Thanks all for the suggestions. Dr Spaw's nurse suggested Senokot and I took Susan's suggestion for MOM. One of them worked, literally. Not a fun experience. Thanks and blessings Will

I don't know I took both of them. Senokot was the recommendation of the Dr's office.
