PCP advice: How is Dr. Bryce Dixon?

I just made an appointment for a physical check-up with his secretary, and when I asked about his position on weight loss surgery, she acted as I asked a silly question and said she didn't know.  I was worried about whether or not I should have asked that question in advance - guess I shouldn't expect her to know. Anyway, I read one good review here on OH but would love to hear anybody else's opinions about him? Anybody who has him as a PCP? Thanks.
