I just wanted to share this with you, I just put one scoop of Syntrax Fuzzy Navel Nectar Protein Powder with some ice, water and 1/4 a cup of Creamy Vanilla Micellar Milk in the Magic Bullet to make a shake and it was actually very good!!! Cool, fruity, and creamy!! ! Just perfect on a hot day!!! I have estimated the following nutritional information for this shake to be the following: 135 calories; 27.5 grams protein; 1/2 gram of fat; 1.5 carbs You gotta try it!! Shelia

Question: Do the protein powder drinks maybe taste awesome after surgery? I have tried the Matrix cookies and cream and chocolate and the DaVinci syrup Carmel and English Toffee and quite frankly I am not impressed. Also the orange new whey bullets arent so delicious. I think the best tasting protein drink I have had would be the slim fast High Protein drink, the low carb one sucks. I think my problem is that I am used to things actually being sugary tasting so since these things aren't sugar laden, I find them dull (yes I know they are for nutrition not desserts lol). Anyway just hoping this all tastes better after surgery since my buds will change. Also I am not big on fruity tasting stuff so maybe I will love it after surgery. Would it be so bad if maybe they had foody tasting syrups like french fries or jalapeno chips or beef jerky lol sounds gross but it would kill peoples cravings i guess w/o doing damage.

Your taste will definitely change after surgery. Some of the things I wouldn't eat at all before are some of my favorite things now. Protein will taste different . I couldn't find anything I liked before surgery but now I find a few of them taste okay.

I did not try them before surgery,but many people testify that yes, they are much better tasting after surgery. I will tell you a secret though, not that you can have them for at least six months or longer after surgery, but their is a OSTRIM stick that is part Ostrich and Beef, it is like a Slim Jim, they come in Teriyaki, Pepper, Natural and Barbecue.
