Just found out today that our insurance is changing.    At Desk I'm right in the middle of doing the 6 month diet plan and I'm afraid this is going to mess it all up. Mad Scientist   Just pray that everything is still on track for me and I won't have to start over. Faint I return to work this week and should learn more about this change, I'll keep you posted. Thanks, Melissa

Oh, Melissa...sorry to hear about your insurance! Let's be positive---maybe it will be BETTER.  Maybe they won't require the 6 mo diet and maybe you will get approved right away and can surgery even sooner than you expected!!  Wouldn't that be wonderful?!?!?! I'll be praying for you! Rhonda

Your 6 month diet should still qualify. I'm going to be praying that the new insurance still covers the surgery! You're going to be fine I'm sure. Like Rhonda said, perhaps this new insurance will be better and you'll get a faster approval.

Be Positive! Keep that up! Be aware that the insurance company does not decide whether or not your company insurance covers the surgery. Those decisions are made by your employer…..This means that when your employer decides on an insurance company they then pick an insurance package which decides all employees coverage.  Since this change is happening to you I would ask human resource about the particulars. If the policy does not cover the surgery you can ask if your company will make an exception concerning you, doesn’t happen often but it is a possibility and all companies don’t have to openly offer this but they have to take the request seriously.

Stay positive!  I agree with Susan...the six month diet should still qualify.  And Rhonda is right...it could be even better with the new insurance!  And Keith is right, too!  Ask the insurance person where you work about the new package.  This may be a blessing in disguise!  Let's just stay excited and take it a day at a time! Big positive smile! Freddie
