I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE ACTUALLY SAID THIS TO ME!!!!!

     Well now that I got your attention, I must tell you what happened to me today............................... I decided to give blood   for the first time in a very long time since I am so much healthier!!!!   I was sitting   there reading   the information about giving blood and waiting   to be checked out, I noticed   a lady from the Red Cross that was going around to everyone around me and asking if they would give double red blood cells.  Hearing this, I thought to myself, I'll do that, because I want to help as much as I can.  Therefore, I called the lady   over when she did not ask me.   I told her that I would be glad to give  double red blood cells to help out and she looked at  me and replied, "Honey, you do not qualify".     I thought, how dare you tell me I do not qualify,  you have not even seen my paperwork, but I politly  asked, "Why"   and she said......................................................... .......................................................... R----E----A----D----Y for this................  ..................   I was told, "You do NOT   weigh enough!!!!!!!!!"   I was  totally SHOCKED        to death, I said, "Well how much do  you have to weigh  ????  She replied, "175lbs and  I know you do not come close to that"!!!!.    I said,  "NOPE   not anymore, as of this morning I was  167.8" and she was shocked I weighed that much!!!!!   YEAH!!!    PARTY!!!! DANCE!!!!     This was the first   time in my LIFE, I have ever  been told, "You do NOT weigh enough", I have been  told many times in the past that I weigh TOO much,  but never NOT enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    (I did tell her that I had WLS and showed her my  pictures   and she was completly shocked)  Also, a couple of others saw my pictures and could  not believe it was me, they also commented, that I  was the first person that they had seen that actually  looked Healthy after having the surgery, I told them,  that they need to look at our Support Group    and they would see a lot more that look even better  than I do  !!!!! Well, I hope you enjoyed this WOW   moment  as much as I have!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shelia

That is an awesome wow moment Shelia!! I'm sure you'll have lots more of those to come! I just noticed your ticker.... you only have 29 more pounds until your goal on your ticker!! I'm sure you'll surpass that. Its hard to believe that you're really not that far out from surgery to be so close to your goal! It is hard to believe Melinda reached her goal and then some in what... 8 months??!! Totally amazing... you've both worked really hard! I can't wait to see your skinny self at the luncheon!

Well, I am actually 17.8 pounds away from my BMI being considered NORMAL, and 27.8 till my goal of 140, who knows maybe, I will make it, but I am not sure I will do it in 8 months like Melinda!!!   I can't wait to see your GLOWING FACE, MoMMY to be!!!

Isn't that just wonderfun!!!  People at work keep commenting about my weight going down (in good ways), and they only see me in baggy scrubs so they don't really see my figure.  It's just amazing.  That's another thing we have to learn to do ...accept compliments!  It's hard for me to do, as I'm sure it is for most of us.

Weigh to go Shelia!!! I look forward to the day that I can buy a suit or a shirt or pants without having to pay twice as much as the so-called 'average' male. Great news and you are an inspiration to all of us that are about to travel the same road as you, in may case Monday the 6th. I have already lost 30 pounds on Slimfast lowcarb shakes and I haven't even had the surgery yet! Enjoy your moment God Bless Will
