Isnt it a relief to know that the tool still works?   I lost some in the hospital.  Now people are piping down my throat at work when I visited... stop losing, stop losing.  I said if you think I look thin now, wait til 3 weeks after my abdominplasty.  THEN they will really say I'm too thin!   But I am not trying to lose anymore weight.  I'm done.

I want to have a lower body lift so bad but I just can't afford it...and of course, insurance won't pay for it.  Who knows...maybe I WILL win the lottery someday! I think you look wonderful!

Congrats on your success Melanie ! I could use some lessons on how to like or even come to love yourself, I need serious help in that area.

Sweetie, this is where the counselor in me comes out...You are SO worth it.  Look how hard you are working to improve yourself.  If you weren't worth it, you wouldn't bother.  Are you getting support at home for all the hard work?  That helps a lot but even if you aren't, you can definitely get LOTS of support here on ObesityHelp.com and I am sure you are making use of it. At the end of the day, your brain will believe what you verbalize.  If you constantly tell yourself negative things, you WILL live up to all the negativity and people will treat you the way you treat yourself.  HOWEVER...the more positive things you say to yourself (OUT LOUD so your brain can hear - it DOES listen, believe me), the more often you say them...the more YOU will believe them.  You have to catch those negative remarks and turn them around.  Even if it is hard and it feels ****y, it isn't...it is important that you do it. You are looking beautiful on the outside...now let the beauty on the inside rule your life.  You are beautiful and you are incredibly sexy.  SO THERE.
