I'm on my two week pre-op liquid diet and I'm using bouillion cubes for broth. Should I be concerned about taking too much sodium. Or is it ok if I'm drinking plenty of water?

You should be fine. They're gonna load you up with saline IV when you have surgery anyway. Just drink extra water to help flu**** out.

Hi Lisa! I was concerned about the sodium in the broth when I did it, too.  I have high blood pressure and salt has always been a big deal.  I called my PCP and he said that since that was pretty much all I was eating/drinking that I shouldn't be concerned.   After I heard that...I drank all kinds of delicious broth...beef, chicken, veggie...sometimes I mixed the beef with a little veggie and pretended it was vegetable soup. Good luck!  I know you are going to be a great success! By the way...I love the pictures of your puppies on your site!  I have a chihuahua and a bichon frise who are just like children to me and my husband.  Big smile! Freddie
