I will be having my first lap band adjustment in a couple of weeks.  Does it hurt???  Also, why do some doctors do it in the office in about 3 mins and some take you to x-ray and do it there?  Any answers would be helpful. Thanks, Brenda

Hey Brenda! The band adjustment wasn't bad.  Dr. Houston does his first 2 in x-ray.  That was so he could make sure everything looked in place and could watch how fast everything flows through.  Really wasn't any big deal.

No, it doesn't hurt!  At least not for me!  If the fills were all I had to worry about, everything in the past 9 months would have been a piece of cake!(which I wish I could have at this time) Have a good day, and quit worrying about it, you will do just fine!   In Christ, Kathie

I have Dr Dyer, too, and I can assure you its just a needle stick and no pain.  He does all of his in fluroscopy and its so that he can make sure that he doesn't get you too tight.  He is very cautious!  deb
