Out of the hospital

But still doped on pain meds.  Going to moms.  She doesnt hv internet but I  will post and read other posts in a few days.  Feeling better, just a bit sore.  Shelia has all the details.

Wow Melinda, I just got home from seeing you off and you have already posted!!!! Well, here are the details Gang!!!  Melinda is still in some pain as she stated and that is to be expected.  She is to return to her Doctor on Tuesday and he will remove her drainage tube then and give her an update then.  I am sure she is glad to be out of the hospital and  will be at her home soon.  Her Mom is a gem and has been by her side the entire time and will be continuing to take care of Melinda at her house.  Melinda looks much better than she did the other day when I saw her, however she is very tired ( I did manage to make her laugh and see her beautiful smile).  They did give her some food today and she tolerated it well.  Hopefully, she is on the mend and no more unexpected hospital stays!!!  Keep up the prayers!!!! Dear Shelia: I am a good friend of Melinda's, however, we recently moved.  I have known Melinda and her room mate for 16 years.  Please let me know tomorrow how she is doing.  I am so ashamed I didn't know about her being sick.  This is the first time in months, that, I have gotten on the TN site.  I guess, I, should stay on this one from now on!   Thank you, Kathie Canter [email protected]

Well I got out of the house today!  My mother probably welcomes the break.  I have exhausted her all week long.  But I was so sick from Weds. til Friday, I didn't have much fight left in me.  I had to have total peace, quiet, and not have anyone even touching me.  I think Weds. was the worst, and Thursday.   But one good thing came out of it.  I had some scar tissue from the gastric bypass, and while Dr. Houston was in there during the second surgery he removed it.  (Where was I during the first surgery?  It doesn't seem like I had TWO this week?!?)   I have one thing to say. Thank God for pain medicine! I am still on the mend as someone said, but I am sleeping in the recliner and up walking. I went out to eat with a friend today.  We went to Mcallister's. Didn't have much of an appetite but good to just get out.
