Day 2 Pre-op liquid diet

Day 2 is going so much better than day 1 did, I was in the worst mood yesterday. I started my liquid diet yesterday for upcoming surgery on Aug 6th. I really thought that I was going to be miserable but It is going okay so far. Wish me luck....Does anybody else have a surgery date around the first week of aug?  Take care.

My surgery is August 10th!!...I have to do the Liver shrink diet....and the day before liquid diet..... Good Luck to you!

Hey Amber I have the same date you do Aug 6th. but I actually started the diet on July 19th. It has been tough for me because I'm a grazer and I find myself wanting to reach for snacks during the day. I think my last week will be the most difficult when I go completely on the protein shakes without any solid food. But it is part of the price I have to pay for the poor choices that I've made in the past. Blessings! Will

Hey Amber! Just keep your goal in mind and you will be fine!  I did a huge barbeque for 50 teenagers two days before my surgery.  No kidding...it was the hardest thing I've done not to taste any of it!  It was my daughter's sweet 16 party and I did everything from scratch.  If I can do it...I know you can!
