Dear Lord, Abba Father....I come to you today to lift up this family that is looking to you the almighty and all giving father for healing, guidance and peace. I have seen you work miracles through so many avenues in my short life Lord and read even more of your love in your living word. I ask that you send your vessels to help in this situation Lord. It is hard for us to see your mighty works when we are flooded with emotion God. We know you are working. Reveal to this family your love, show them the hope of your calling. I ask peace for this wife and caregiver. Send her vessels to help in caring for for husband. I ask for spiritual renewal Lord. Many times we are so caught up in the everyday we don't think we have the time to spend with you. Only by walking close to you can we see and discern the many helps that are there for us Lord. We ask blessings in the name of your precious son, the spotless lamb, sacrificed not only for our sins but for our healing. AMen
Sweetie, I took care of my bedbound grandmother for 2 years. This can be very hard. Stay close to God. Find some respite care for your husband. I was so worried about what if someone tries to steal from me..ect that I didn't for a long time. Well put some locks on those bedroom doors and go out of the house for a few hours to take some time for yourself and away from the house. PErhaps some handy people at the church will help you out with installing locks and things needed for your husband's care...as well as sitting with him while you go get a hair cut or something.....Blessings to you.
