Lunch Bunch

Pondering if there is anyone near me who makes the lunches as they sound fun. I;m almost 3 years out and since we moved to McMinnville (BFE), I can't even get to support group meetings. Kelly

I made the drive from Cookeville...I-40 to 840 to I-65 to Franklin.  Sorry...we're pretty close, but not really  .  How far or how long does it take for you to get to the Franklin area?  Just trying to figure how long it would take if I came to McMinnville and picked you up.... Rhonda

Yanno, I honestly haven't been to Franklin since our move. , so I don't know. We used to live in LaVergne. However, if I get my car back up and running, (my daughter wrecked it last week) I could meet you at I-40 in Smithville and we could carpool; that is if you hit Smithville before 840. I just feel out of place kinda going to something where I don't know any folks, but I miss being with people who have been through the same trials or will be going through them. Kelly

Kelly, I didn't really know a soul there....when I went last Saturday.  Just from being on here and posting messages with a few of them.  I went to a support group meeting at Baptist the week of July 4th and met a few people there.  Cookeville Hospital has a support group the 2nd Wednesday of every month.  If you could make it to the next mtg in Cookeville, maybe we could meet there in person.  I know someone who lives in the Quebeck area who might want to go to the next lunch bunch too.  I also work with someone who lives in your county--she is hoping to have surgery soon and she is planning on going to meetings. Keep in touch and maybe we can work it out...this is a great group of people! Rhonda
