Saturday--lunch bunch--WOW!
Lunch bunch.... Everyone is AWESOME! I enjoyed meeting so many supportive people
--I have new friends.
Susan and Shelia--thanks for bringing your before pics and talking with my mom....by the time we got home, I think she was ready for me and her both to have surgery! Shelia--glad you and Dale decided to come.
Freddie--hang in there... 1 more week! Thanks for helping Emily have fun and try to beat the heat with imagination. It was horribly hot, but you were so sweet to try to help keep her mind off of it. She loved it! Be sure you break 'em in good for me at Dr. Spaw's office and the hospital---I'm right behind you!
Scott & Beth--it was so nice to meet your family. RJ is a handsome young man who is very blessed to have you for his parents. He's a great photographer!
Janice--it was nice to meet you! I couldn't figure out who you were...but now I know.
Sorry if I left anybody out! I had a great time and it was good for mom to see that post-op folks can and do eat. I think she thought WLS meant you NEVER eat again--lol!
I do hope to make this a usual monthly trip--it's almost 2 hours away, but it is definately worth it! And...hey....hopefully very soon I can be bringing clothes that I have shrunk out of for someone else to use.
Have a great week!
Rhonda

Yay mom!
I did assure her that you have a marvelous surgeon! I told her we have the same one and I have had absolutely zero problems related to the surgery. If she hasn't already met Dr. Spaw, make sure she meets him before they take you back for surgery. That really helped my husband the day of my surgery.
