Hey Missy,
I was wondering how your were doing! Glad to hear all went well and that you're back home. I know I was glad my parents were here when I had my surgery too. The energy level will come back in time. Just continue walking and each time you'll be able to do more distance.
Don't forget, pureed doesn't mean bland! You can flavor or spice however you like and can tolerate. It really helps. If you haven't already, get some toddler bowls and utensils. The really small size of the spoons/forks helps with taking a smaller bite and the little bowl doesn't make your ounce's seem so minimal. Also remember to put down your spoon/fork between bites to make you slow down.
Anyway, glad to hear all is well and Good Luck!!! Keep us posted!
