Cool article Heather. You've done a wonderful job! I'm glad they put in the plug for the OH website too. I just wish they had specified the Tennessee Forum...the best forum on the board!

You look beautiful and the article was well written.  I especially love the fact that you pointed out that the surgery wasn't for vanity reasons it is for LIVING reasons!  Congratulations!!! I've had so many people complain and bicker about how people only want this surgery so they can look good and they want to cheat and do it all with surgery and not diet and exercise.  I'm glad that people aren't so freaking narrow minded and that the word is getting out that this IS NOT a cheating way of losing weight and that just the surgery alone doesn't get the weight off you have to exercise and do a stricter diet than almost any other forms, it's one of the HARDEST things people have to do to save their life not just so they'll look good in a size zero pair of pants.  I honestly believe that if there is vanity issues then it comes way after all of the hard work has been done and continues to be done on a daily basis and the people that are proud of the way that they look dang well deserve to feel proud about how they look. Oh my goodness!  What a fabulous article to read right before I go on the liquid diet.  Anytime I feel down I am going to re-read your article.  Congratulations on your success! Freddie

Very encouraging!  I'm about 6 weeks out with relatively the same stats (height and weight)  so needless to say it keeps me looking forward to seeing the smaller version of me.   The article was a very good read!
