CHANGING DR AGIN

Hi I am changin Dr agin because I can't seem to get any reply from Vanderbilt so I am going back to Knoxville to Dr Boyice ,I talked to the office there and they are so nice about taking me back just need to send 6 mo weigin to them then we well see how long the insurence takes to approve. Every time I called Van. they would give me the run around about somebody not being in so that is why I am changing annyone been to Dr Boyice plese let me know how you liked him. Thank's Jan

Hi Jan! I was originally with Vanderbilt.  I changed to Dr. Spaw at Baptist and could not be happier!!  I hope that you will be happy with your new doctor.  Keep us informed! Freddie

I'm sorry that they weren't all that helpful believe me I felt some of that irritation you must be feeling from Vanderbilt.  Hopefully you'll be happy with your doctor that's the most important thing.  Sending you hugs and praying that everything will work out okay!

Ok it might be just my opinion but several here have had problems with Vandy's program.  Why don't you call their PR department and find out who you can complain to? It might help.  I am all for the fact that if you don't get good service, then its worth voicing your opinion, and that the patients deserve better and more respect than that.... like I said.... OK SHUT UP MELINDA. GET OFF YOUR SOAP BOX NOW! LOL Sounds like you have had quite a time with doctors.  I hope you like this new one, and that it all goes great for you. Sorry though that I have not had any dealings with that one but keep on looking for folks who have....  

Thanks Melinda for you reply,I did talk to the  head of that department at Vandy and they are ok now .So we well see what happens next they assured thigs will be different now.They are going to get my paper into the insurance today for sure. Hi Jan. I hate to hear about the problems you are having. Hopefully you will get to a DR that you are really happy and comfortable with. It is very inmportant to find the right place for you because you have to have a good relationship with that office since there is a lot of aftercare. I have always said that if you don't like one, find another. This surgery requires a lot of care and you have to be happy. I had surgery with Dr Torquati at Vandy and had the same problems at first with the "before" care for insurance submissions and getting call backs and just getting to talk to someone. But, I really LOVE my surgeon. If it wasn't for him, I would have went somewhere else. Vandy does have a great aftercare program but all of the stuff in the beginning and up until insurance approval is really lacking. Good luck on getting approved.

Hi maybe it was just me but I did talk to the head person and hope we got thing's going like they should. I realy liked it there so far excep the filling of my case just sitting on the back burner .So thank's   Janet
