I just wanted to say you look so lovely at the meeting tonight at Baptist.  You look even skinnier each month.  I love your skirt, where did you get it? As a side note everyone looked thinner, especially the one guy who had surgery I think 2ish months ago, I remember he missed last months support group but it was a tremendous difference from the previous meeting he was in.  You guys are all inspiring and I cannot wait to be on the losing side!!!

Okay Rhonda,           I sure hope that you were the one there with your husband and we spoke in the lobby.  If I am wrong, please let me know, like I said to Lisa, I am the worse with names and faces, and if that was you, your picture does not do you justice at all.  If that was not you, please explain to me where you were sitting, and next time, you will have to hit me upside the head also and tell me you are from the OH board, I was frazzled that day, as I forgot my wedding rings, first time in almost 16 years and thought that I had lost them, my mother-in-law went to the house and checked and thank God, they were in my jewlery box still, not lost.  I also could not find my keys and had to use the spares, found them later that night, not to mention three ru****ems on three seperate cases from three of my eleven attorneys that I work for an hour before I was to leave.....do I need to say more!!! Glad you were there and yes, it even amazes me the difference in my before picture and now, I still have trouble looking in the mirror and seeing the changes, but pictures are the only way I see the difference, they say this is normal, but I sure hope to see it in the mirror soon, but until then, lots of picture taking to keep me on track!! How was the meeting? Did you get any really good recipes or was the meeting format changed from recipe exchange & discussion? I hate that I missed it.

Hey Susan, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well.  Hope you're doing better!  Yeah, they changed the forum.  It was a woman who is a trained WLS leader or something like that.  She is six years out and gave some good info.  Next month is supposed to be the PS; hope to hear some good info there too.  I was looking forward to the recipe exchange though.  Maybe another time.

Was her name Amy? If so, she does the Clarksville support group too. I wonder if they are going to use her on a regular basis.

Lisa,            You are so very sweet and sorry it has been such a delay in responding to your post.  I have been very busy getting ready for my 11 year old son's trip to Washington DC this Sunday.  He received an Congressional Honor and is one out of 3500 sudents from across the nation that have been hand selected by a special Congressional Committee to attend the Jr.NYLC, his nomination was based on his academic and leadership abilities. He is scheduled to meet President Bush on July 11th as long as his schedule is not changed, as you know they cannot guarantee this, because his schedule could change in an instant.  This is going to be a huge challenge for me, because this is the first time he has been away from home, he must attend by himself, due to security purposes, even if I did go, I would not be allowed to attend the conference with him.  I sure hope that I do well in his absence.   As far as the skirt goes, that was actually a birthday gift from a really close friend, she took me shopping at my very FIRST ever Regular clothing store in my life. When I say this, I mean the store does not have anything above a size 16.  She took me to Ann Taylor Loft and I had so much fun trying on clothes for the first time ever.  I have been in stores like that before and they would come up to me and ask to whom I am purchasing for, well this time, the attendant asked me if she could help me find something and I believe we filled up the dressing room,,,,,It was so very cool!!! Next time, you need to come up to me and tell me exactly who you are, because your picture does not do you justice, not to mention I am the worse person when it comes to names and faces!!  I hope that you smack me upside the head next time and say, "HEY Shelia, I am Lisa"  DEAL!!!C I also agree, everyone looked great!! Thanks again for the wonderful compliment, it is still hard to realize when people use words, like lovely, beautiful, skinny, that they are talking about me!! Shelia
