found a protein drink I like

You all have heard me say I HATE PROTEIN well today at CVS they had a sale on MUSCLE MILK buy one get one half off so I did and I bought Chocolate and creamy Vanilla GUESS WHAT I am drinking the chocolate I like it. Its has 22g protein in it. Annrenee

Be careful with anything that says "muscle" as it may be for adding weight like weight trainers, etc.  IMO I'd double check with your NUT.

The regular Muscle Milk has a lot of calories.  They (or someone) makes a lite verson.  I bought some but haven't tried it nor have I compared it to the Micellar Milk (Mice Milk).  Now, I've gotten where I read labels religiously and look for sugar and carbs.

220 Cal per 11oz 0 carbs 11g fat 5 sugurs lots of vitamines whey and soy   IS this good or bad? Annrenee I have mice milk and some others stuff on its way and if this is bad hubby will drink it Annrenee

I can't say if it's good or bad.  Just want to caution you or anyone else to faithfully read the labels.   Some products are deceptive.  What may appear to be a single serving may actually be 2.5 servings according to the label.  Makes a big difference.   I try to keep my carbs as low as I can humanly get.  The body looks for carbs to burn for energy first.  When the carbs aren't there, then the body burns fat.  I *like* my body to burn fat! What you have sounds like the lite version.  I have some in my fridge but haven't tried it yet.  I like the mice milk but it's pricey and I can get my protein from shakes so I don't use it very often.   I still have approximately 20 pounds left until goal.  After that, I'll be a little more lenient with myself.

I bought some of the Isopure drinks and today I had the Alpine Punch it's basically a fruit punch drink.  At first I was like EWWW this stuff is gross.  It wasn't really all that sweet it had more of a sour taste to it, but then I remembered I had some of the splenda packet and decided what the heck, so I added a packet of splenda to the glass bottle and it tasted a little better.  I let Roger taste it and he suggested that I try it as a snow cone so I got out the snow cone maker and sure enough it was SO much better that way, it actually tasted really good. 

It is gross I gag on it and so many other, I have a real hard time with taste was like this before surgery. Annrenee

My first reaction to Isopure was "Ewwwww!" Now, I gag just looking at the bottle. Some people "say" they like it...I don't see how!

Annrenee,         Welcome back home!!!  I am glad that you like the Muscle Milk, because it is so very important to enjoy the valuable protein that we must have.  You have got to try the Micellar Milk, the Strawberries and Creme is really great!!  Keep on trying things and you will find the right combinations.  I will stress that the Matrix 5.0's, both the Cookies and Creme and the Chocolate are very good as well, the Chocolate is great with SF Peanut Butter Davinci Syrup.
