Question about TennCare and Bariatrics

I have TennCare Medicaid from a previous spend-down I think. I don't have to pay premiums or co-pays. I also have private insurance that I may be losing due to the fact of my husband changing jobs. Does anyone know if TennCare Medicaid will pay for a revision from a lap-band to Duodenal Switch? That is the surgery I am interested in. If you know of anyone who has had this situation or if you reading this post can help answer this, I would appreciate it so very much!!!!! Thank you, Vanessa

Taylor--Tenncare doesn't cover any weight-loss surgeries unless you have co-morbid condition(s), and then your PCP has to write the later very carefully, saying that if you had this surgery  you could expect to lose that much weight and the exepectation was that would greatly reduce your specific co-morbidity.
