My AO tastes funky!

Yucky yuck yuck....

I couldn't even get half of one down this morning....must be the crazy pregnancy stuff, but it is very frustrating. Ya'll know how much I love my AO. I haven't had any trouble with anything else though, so I guess that's a good sign I probably won't have any sickness.

But I got to thinking, AO has caffeine in it which is recommended in small quanitites during pregnancy. I wonder if anyone knows the caffeine content??

Other than that and this crazy extreme fatigue, everything is going pretty good. The shock of it all has finally dissipated and I'm now getting really excited!

I hope everyone is doing well :-D

Can I be second in line after Paula to babysit?  I would take your AO but they have been claimed already I bet.

Bless your sweet little queasy heart!  I have been an avid coffee drinker since high school and I couldn't stomach any coffee when I was pregnant.  It will be just fine after your sweet baby is born:) Freddie

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Baby has got to love AO!! Surely this will pass. FYI - I drank coffee all through my pregnancy with my daughter. Not large amounts, but at least 1 large mug every day. The only side effect I see is that she is as much a Starbucks junkie as I am. LOL You are just about at the perfect stage of pregnancy that, if you are going to have morning sickness, it should start any time now. The best advice I can give you is, small frequent meals. Make sure you eat something every 2 -3 hours and before your feet hit the floor in the morning. It is better if you have something to bring up if you do get sick. As bad as morning sickness is, the dry heaves are worse!!!! Trust me...I was sick the entire 7 months I carried my son and with my daughter, it started at about 6 weeks and shut off like a switch at 3 months. I hope you do get by without any morning sickness, but don't count on it.

Dang!  I am late again!  Everyone else has already spoken for the AO.  I ran out and need to get some more... its my breakfast food and today I got sick after trying to eat normal breakfast food... a bit of scrambled eggs, one piece turkey bacon, piece of toast.  It tasted good but it made me too full.  I kinda ate the toast more than the eggs and so that wasnt good on protein. See what happens when you stray away from the AO?  Disaster, I tell you!  DISASTER! Hope you get to feeling better soon.

April, keep some saltines by the bed and eat one slowly before you get up...try sour things, they really helped me with the horrible morning sickness I had with Savannah.  And try the nausea band for the wrist...it helps.  Also dramamine if you can.  The taste change only lasts a little while usually, at worst until after pregnancy.  My main problem was with ground beef...even the smell.  I'm so excited for you!
