I am not sure why, but I have had a strong   feeling inside me today, that is telling   me that I need to let you all exactly how much you each mean to me and that I am so grateful that God    has lead me to this site.  I have had several problems   and you have all supported me   and given me advice that has been invaluable.  I hate that not all the forums on OH is as loving and supportive as the Tennessee   forum, therefore I truly believe that God   has placed me here with each of you at this exact time in my life.  I can't explain it, but without being able to share my thoughts   to many others around me, I rely on this support group and it is as if it has become a lifeline    for me and my success. Thanks for everything you have all done for me!!

I agree, I feel like I have friends now.  I lost my best friend Chrissy in 2004 and I just shut down literally I had no friends becasue they've all moved away and there are only xmas cards and birthdays.  Best thing about on here is that almost everyone of us have or have had the same issues that we have had to deal with about our weight.  I'm not afraid to say how I'm feeling about my flab, or if I'm having weight related issues I feel like I can come here and get advice on how others have handled similar things.  I'm free just to be me. I'm one of those lurkers that lives life vicariously through you people.  I live in Kentucky but am hoping to have my surgery in Nashville with Dr. Houston soon.  Just finishing my 6 month program of physician supervised dieting.  I have to say that this is a very special group and while I have never met any of you, I feel a strong kinship and know you are all very special people.  When I am out with my friends here at home I talk about all the adventures you all are having and I am getting anxious to be on that losers bench with the rest of you fine folks.  I am also going to try to come down and meet all of you at one of your Saturday lunches one of these days.  I drive through Nashville frequently on my way to visit my daughter and her family in Talladega.  I want to find the sugar free store and all those other neat places you all talk about.    Don't know my way around Nashville at all, but I usually manage to find the doc's office, the hospital, and can drive through on 64 or 24.... I want you all to know that I think you are a very special group.  I lurk a little on the KY and IN boards, but there is nothing like this group out there.  I'm missing Melinda this week and wondering who the Mike is that is frequently mentioned in her posts..... Have a wonderful weekend.

I am in agreement 100% plus.... I credit this group of people with not only my current success, but also with the continued success I know I will have. This forum keeps me grounded and makes me want to be the best I can be. Thank you all for that....I am very grateful to each of you....and I cannot wait to meet you all at the next luncheon. Jancy
