Dr. Dyre??

Anyone have their surgery that had Dr. Dyre know how much he charges for an office visit if you are willing to pay out of pocket just for the office visit? Trying to find out because my old PCP doctor's office is the slowest in the nation (or so is my opinion) and it takes them FOREVER to send my medical records to my new pcp that is trying to get it approved by my insurance so I'm just like if I can scrounge up the money for 1 office visit to get the papers signed that he needs then it might jump start the process faster than waiting the month just for the paper work to go threw... What's everyone think?? Angie

Err spelled wrong Dr. Dyer is the right way to spell it.

The first thing you will have to do is to go to one of the seminars from Centennial.  There is a schedule on their website.  At this seminar one of the three docs will tell you all about the surgery and at the end you will be able to get a packet that has all the paperwork you will need to fill out and send back to the Centennial insurance dept and they will get the ball rolling for you.  Here is the link for the schedule: http://www.cmcwls.com/events.php Hope this helps you get started. For self pay patients he has a first time office visit cost of $250.00 as of a couple of months ago but you will have to attend a seminar to even get a first appointment. Liz

Dr. David Dyer is my surgeon and he has been a miracle worker !! He has helped me tremendously! He has been my surgeon thru 2 seperate operations and has seen me thru medical problems not even related to my weight loss surgery ..he even helped me thur a medical emergency with my hubby!!! I am so lucky to have him as my surgeon and my freind.. he is the most experienced and careful surgeon and really cares about his patients!  call #615-342-5830 and speak with Johanna she will help you and tell you how much he charges for an office visit  without insurance .  He is a top notch surgeon and insists on the very best of everything.. He does alsoinsist of you going to a seminar at Centennial before you have surgery but if you just want to talk to him directly and pay out of pocket for an early visit ,maybe that can be arranged .. Angie  forgot to mention the seminars and even the support groups are always free, bring a note pad and pen  write things dowm and ask  lots of questions when you do go .. It is the time to speak up and ask questions if you decide to just go to the seminar  ...
