Congratulations, Daniel!  As I'm sure you know  - the band is even more effective on men as they tend to be bulk eaters instead of grazers.  My hubby could not turn away from the all-you-can-eat restaurants to save his life and could never stay on a diet.  The band allows him to eat the food he wants but won't allow him to eat the quantities he used to (trust me, he tried!).  We both got the band and it was slow and steady loss for me - but the weight just fell off him in no time!  Follow the bandster rules and you will do GREAT!
