Just Wondering......

Thanks to all the females, who are very nice on here, but I was just wondering where are all the males? Every support group I go to, every meeting, every doctors visit all I see are women. I thought I would find some on the gay message board, wrong. So just wondering.  Peace Keith

keith, there is a men's forum here on Obesity Help. Men tend to lose weight differently than women. I'm sure you'll get some  great advice there: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/men/

I think it's mainly because women are naturally more chatty. We have a couple of men in our support group at my surgeon's office.

Hey Keith! We're here, but guys tend to lurk more. Myself, I haven't had a chance to hang out on the boards for a while. Yes, we are the minority, but don't feel out of place. The ladies here are supportive and very helpful if you need advice.  Still, if you need a guy's opinion, feel free to give me a shout anytime.

Hey Keith,  Joe hit it the nail on the head.  Men tend to lurk more.  I have gotten great advice from all the women on the Tenn. board.  So don't be afraid to speak up.  I was posting last week quite alot because my wife had her surgery.  I'm still around, just not as verbal (Beth says that's an understatement !!!) .  Anyway, if you need anything, give me a holler, I'm always around! bigflip, Sorry to say....I spent most of my time on poker stars.(play money) Never been comfy talking on message boards too much..... but with struggling to make improvements on our bodys we all know we must be successful on the mind…..and who among us Men doesn’t need support????? Slap me in  your friend list but you will have to get me very drunk to go on the gay board.LOL Your very right... These womens are great! fat G
