Hi Tina, I'm sorry for not being on the board more often. Having 4 surgeries since April 20th (tummy tuck) has kept me so tired.  Also staying with my son, his wife, their 2 yr old, her mom and brother plus me all living under the same roof, I can't be on my computer as much as I like to be.  I can't wait to get into my own place.  I was watching a movie earrier, her mom, who has her own tv, decides to change my channel, then put in a disney cartoon for my grandson.  I had looked forward to this moving all week, and missed the last half hour of it.   So I went outside to keep from getting angry.  Now that the movie is over with, they're all going to bed as they have to work in the morning.  I am not allowed to have the TV on while on the computer as that causes the electric bill to go higher. I'm thinking that leaving the porch lights on all night, ceiling fans running constantly, the central a/c on 24/7, and the two smaller units on up stairs because it gets too hot up there for my son to sleep during the day.  He works 13 hour shifts, goes in at 11pm and gets home around 1pm the next day.  So I will be having me a party when I get settled in.  Need to go for now. Kathy, I had no idea you had so many surgeries! I have only just returned after falling last month..I am just now getting to where I can actually be online without the pain stopping me from really enjoying the internet.  I am trying to keep in touch with everyone, as I am planning on hitting the road running once I am back to my "old" self and able to walk.  I plan on finding a doctor right away so that I can get my testing and stuff out of the way so I can go forward with my surgery. I have to do my six months diet, but I need to get some other items out of the way too in the meantime. I am looking into seminars and maybe my sister and I will be able to attend a few this year.  She isn't big on driving at night, that is the only draw back but my aunt may drive me if I have to have someone take me....  I am so sorry you are having such a hard time Kathy,  I cannot believe that is how you are being treated! You have way more patience that I do because I would have told that woman to leave my tv alone! I cannot believe that they won't let you on the computer when the tv is on... do they not realize that the pc uses less electricity than they do watching tv? Some people! I think you should accidently leave everything running....and "oopsie" the next morning when someone has the gall to complain! I am glad you caught me up... so I won't worry you fell off the face of the earth...  Love and hugs, Tina

Hi Tina, at least the new Dr.'s are doing and findlng what is wrong. All my other Dr.'s that I love dearly couldn't figure out why I was having strong dizzy spells, fainting, or have so much pain in my right knee, when the arthritis isn't that bad yet.  But when I wake up and my name isn't in the obit section of the paper, then I know I am still alive and I can make the most of my days. I live each day in pain, so I am on Hydromorphone, but I make each day count.  Each day is a gift to celebrate another day among the living.  They live here and help with the food, cleaning, the morgage payment, and the utilities.  I sleep on the couch and change in the bathroom.  My clothes and everything else that I need are in the ho****er heater closet.  I have a plastic  3 drawer for the night shirts, undies, bras,  socks, and shorts. They are packed tight in there.  Everything else is on hangers.  But when I am here, I am never alone except once when I fainted.  I was by myself.  But Phillip is here during the day and so is my daughter-n-love's brother (16).  So I am being taken care of.  Transportation picks me up for my appointments and brings me home again.  My medicade pays them.  Since I don't know the area that well, no insurance on my van, and with he gas prices, I'll have them take me anytime.   My migraine is getting worse.  The pain pills have already worn off.  Take care and hope to see you next month.  Love Kathy

Hi April. You look Stunning. And you are glowing. I can tell how happy you are with yourself these days - and you should be. You looks amazing and it does feel good to get dressed up once in a while doesn't it! We need to figure out how to do that more often except for special occasions that come around every few years! .
