I walked and will try to keep up with it!
Hey all,
I walked around one of our blocks about 1300 steps. Not sure how many min, maybe 10 not any more then that. This is my way of making a deal with my self to try and walk more everyday and even more then once a day, Thank you Evan for your encouragement and help. We will get together and walk too anyone else want to go with us we will make a party out of it :)
That's exactly the way to do it Ann, just do it bit each day and you will find before long that you can do more and more. When I started trying to walk regularly back in February and March, I was only able to walk from one dumpster in the parking lot of my apartment complex to the next (not even a tenth of a mile). This week I am walking more than 2 miles a day. Small, consistent improvement is the way to go.

You can do it! I started walking about 2 months ago. when I started I was walking 1/2 mile twice a week. Now I am up to 1 1/2 miles a day, 5 times a week. Keep it up, it will help the chronic fatigue and fibro. Both Beth and her Mom suffer from fibro and all that goes with it also.

Annrennee My hubby and I started walking when he retired but I fought him for a year and a half I hate to exercise then when we moved to where we are 7 months ago I got into it and now we are doing 3 miles every day. We have missed 1 day in the last 2 months. We started out very slowly but I am so nosey that I just had to see what was up ahead until he said enough. Now it is such a habit I don't fight him at all, at times I try to talk my self out of it and he says it is up to me. It will get easier just don't try to do to much to soon. Take care. HUgs and
