I think we have all suffered with this at one point or another...I had a horrible time and the only protein I could get down was the bullets Paula sent me.  The good thing is that at around three months after surgery, my tastes changed yet again and now I love several of the shakes.  AchievOne's are my favorite but you have to try them all to find the ONE you will love...My fav is Cappucino but I have grown to love Vanilla Nut with a shot of Davinci toasted marshmallow.  The bullets are very sweet and have a texture like un-set Jello...Melinda could not stand them unless she made a slushy out of them with crushed ice and a Splenda...sounds weird I know but it worked for her.  Do you like cottage cheese?  I practically lived on the stuff for weeks...also scrambled eggs and a little cheese...just keep trying and please don't give up!

Ok, first of all I'm only 2 weeks out so I'm the first to confess that I don't know that many options yet...but here's what's working for me. My personal experience is the Achieve protein shakes are good.  The protein bullets work for some but I did not like the taste at all and in fact it's one of the few things that have actually made me sick.   One week out from surgery I told my nutritionist that I was having trouble getting my protein and my energy was zapped.   She laugh and asked had I tried to puree tuna or chicken?  She suggested adding a little boiled egg with a little mayo and relish...works like a charm... She also mentioned yogurt.  My energy level is much better.  (Now I have to worry about not eating that extra bite! -- DON'T DO IT!  ) I hope you find your answer!   Pam
