Tell Me This Will Pass????
Ok, first of all I'm only 2 weeks out so I'm the first to confess that I don't know that many options yet...but here's what's working for me.
My personal experience is the Achieve protein shakes are good. The protein bullets work for some but I did not like the taste at all and in fact it's one of the few things that have actually made me sick. One week out from surgery I told my nutritionist that I was having trouble getting my protein and my energy was zapped. She laugh and asked had I tried to puree tuna or chicken? She suggested adding a little boiled egg with a little mayo and relish...works like a charm... She also mentioned yogurt. My energy level is much better. (Now I have to worry about not eating that extra bite! -- DON'T DO IT! )
