Need Your Prayers
Just want to ask you once again to keep my husband and I in your prayers. We got a phone call this morning that his father had passed away. So he has lost both parents within the last month. He had a much better relationship with his father than he did with his mother, so this i****ting him really hard. His father lived in Hot Springs , ARK, so please keep us in your prayers, because we will be traveling this week.
Thanks,
Darlene
Darlene, I am so sorry to hear that your husband has lost both parents so close together. I will keep you in my prayers for a safe journey and that your husband finds some sort of peace inside of him. Were his parents both real ill, or just very very close? Were they Christians? If so knowing they are together and with Jesus might help your husband in his hour of grief. It will take time for him to deal with all this, the pain will never go away just lessen with time. Love Kathy

His parents had been divorced and remarried others for many years, his mother lived here in town and had pancreatic cancer , so her death was expected and welcomed since she suffered so much. His father lived in Ark and hadn't been sick, but he was in his upper 80s. They both were christians so that is some comfort. My dh was much closer to his father so this is very hard on him.
Thank you for your prayers
Darlene
Hi, although I have been married 3 times, but in God's eyes my first husband is still my husband, like the story of the woman at the well. Even in the wedding vows it says till death we do part. But knowing they were Christians will help ease your hubby's pain as he knows they are no longer suffering and are at peace. You still have my prayers. Love kathy
