Think Thin Protein Bars from BE
Does anyone like these? I ordered the sample pack of 4 bars and cut one in half to take with me to work. I took a bite out of it and spit it right back out.... these are definitely not what I expected from BE. But too, I must say, I've never been a big fan of protein bars. I desperately need something to have at my desk at work in the afternoons since I have to take my lunch hour so friggin' early! Anyways, so if anyone wants them, they're up for grabs and I'll hold on to them until our luncheon this month. I would mail them, but they would probably melt in the heat.
April,
Try the Pure Protein Bars. You can buy them at Krogers (often at 10 for $10) or Walmart, where they are as cheap as the Kroger sale price all of the time). They have several flavors. The ones I like are the Chocolate Deluxe (170 cal, 40 cal from fat, 20g protein, no sugar) and the S'mores (180 cal, 50 cal from Fat, 19g protein). These are the 1.76 oz bars, not the larger ones sold on the net that has higher calories. I keep one in my purse for when I'm caught away from home unexpectedly.
They also make a protein powder which I am eager to try but haven't found it locally yet.
