Hello Everyone.   Surgery was uneventful, was resleased on 24th, and we are still in Maryville awating our appointment on Wed this week.   I still have one drain I guess will come out then, But other than that I feel better than I have felt in years.  I have absolutely no pain as of today, yesterday I was still a little gassy.  This is the best thing I have ever done for my health and am excited about the outcome.  I asked Dr. Colquitt if I could lose 200 pounds this year, his reply was I f I had a mind to.  The only pain I had was when I woke up from surgery, now that hurt.  I was writhing in pain and tried to get up they had to hold me down.  I found out later Morphine dosn't work with me but the Dulotid- spelling?? did, after that no pain.  I was up walking the same day and pulling 3500 in the spiromiter.    Thanks for your support and prayers.

Good Morning, Congrats on you surgery. I had RNY 04/23/07 and am also doing great. I have lost 49 lbs. since surgery and I look forward to every day.....just to see how much better I am going to feel, and what new adventure I can get myself into.... This website is great for support and I enjoy finding people that are close to me in surgery dates so we can exchange information. If I can help you with any questions, feel free to ask..... Continued great success to you....

Thanks Everyone,  I just got home from Maryville and I am BUSHED going to bed.   I guess that's the way it will be for a week or two.  Other than being tired i feel great.  I am amazed how unhungry I am on the liquid diet stage one more week, then soft foods, IS a BIG MAC considered soft? More later Dew
