I dont know what is causeing this nause

HELP, Last night and now again tonight something is causeing nause and GAS...... I am not eating much, just protein drink, cream of wheat even less today then yesterday.... my belly is just roaring i am so sick what can cause this any ideas. Annrenee

Annrenee,        Did you call your doctor?????  I do believe that you really need to contact him and see what he says, this has lasted too long at this point!!! Hope you get to feeling better!! Shelia

Yes He sent me to the Hospital,  They did a cat scan with dye and blood work,  the pouch is irritated ever thing else is normal.  No real reason for it to be like this and gasy. so no real answers of why i get so nause and need to throw up will call doc again tue if it continues. Annrenee

Hi Annrenee. I haven't been online for a few days and I was just redaing your post. I hope you are feeling better. Have you been taking your prevacid or pepcid? My surgeon (as I think most do) prescribe  the pepcid for you to take for several weeks after surgery to prevent the gas build up on your stomach and causing these types of issues. Did your Dr prescribe you any pepcid and if so, are you taking it regualarly. If not, you may want to ask him for some. I know it worked really well for me. Misty, Very good point.  But yes I have been taking it but was having a hard time getting it down I was given some previcide  but also was told to take pepcid complete 2 a day I had acid problems befor the surgery. I am also taking now the gas x and the pepcid that seems to work.  I am feeling much better I got really gassy last night but not that pain like I was having and no throwing up.  So praise the lord I am doing so much better.  Thankyou Annrenee
