Here's my special recipe for those who are constipated. OATMEAL COOKIES 3/4 cup of shortening 1 cup of splenda brown sugar (packed) 1/2 cup splenda whte sugar 1 egg 1/4 cup water 1 tsp vanilla Mix thoroughly  then add the other ingredients 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 tsp salt substitute 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp soda 1/2 tsp cloves 1 cup raisins  (optional) I don't use them 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) I don't use them 3 cups quick-cooking oats heat over to 350 degrees add every thing together, drop dough by rounded tsps 1 inch apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when touched with finger.  Immediately remove from baking sheet. Store in tightly covered container. About 5 dozen cookies. Warning:  About three and you won't be constipated again.  They are fantastic.  Not recommended for those who haven't been out of surgery less then 3 months.   I am baking a batch this afternoon when I get back from seeing my new Oncologist. I have other recipes, just ask and if I have it, I will be glad to share them.  Love the  Kat

Thanks Kathy, I don't have the dreaded constipation often, but these sound pretty good anyway. Darlene
