I know why I get dizzy

I had the final testing done today to find out why I get dizzy with walking and wanting to pass out.  I will have to stay on water pills and the pills they gave me for the dizzy spells for the rest of my life.  I have what is called Menier's Disease in my right ear.  I will have to go to rehab regarding my balance, and to stay on oxygen when I am walking while away from the home. This keeps me from walking distance.  I can no longer pick up my 2 year old grandson. I will have to be extra careful when picking things up from the floor or bending over and raising my head.  I'm to avoid having to go up and down stairs on a constant basis.  So that won't be a problem as my apartment is one on level.  But my son's home and my parents homes have stairs to the bedrooms or spare bathroom are upstairs.  I will also have to have someone with me as a careprovider to live with me and go where ever I go.  That subject is off limits right now because after living with my son, his lovely wife, my 2 year old grandson, her mom and brother both live here, I want quiet time.  Then maybe later as time goes by or as I get older. But not right now.  Thanks for the support and prayers.  Love y'all  The  Kat

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about this, but it is better to know there is a "reason" for all the dizzy spells.  I will keep you in my prayers and maybe you will get to continue your quiet time lifestyle for a while yet.  You are such a strong person, I know you will be fine. Darlene

HEy there's an answer! MY brother in law has that. I still only know little about it cause he lives out of state. Anyway most of the time he's okay just dizzy. His wife does most of the driving and stuff now.  HUGGS Beth B. in Chattanooga
