The job that I thought was a sure thing, well, it wasnt.  It went to someone else.  I have been bummed out all day.  Altho I did leave it in God's hands, I really did have my hopes up.  I will be fine, I just need you guys to keep praying about this job thing.  Stuff with my stepson is heating up and the battle is just beginning.  Thanks for the love and support ya'll give me!

I really hate to hear that Paula. You know I wanted you to have that job too! I'm sure this means that there is something even better out there for you.

Prayers are definitely going up for the step-son situation. I'm sure one side of that will get very nasty before it's over.

Paula, I dont understand why our time has not yet come, but God watches over his children, and He definitely has something in mind.  Its hard because I say "Are you not hearing me? What did I do wrong?" But that is quite a selfish prayer as I dont truly understand why I'm not able to move on... He has a plan and a purpose.  I hope and pray that you are able to find something soon, that will pay more and make you happier...  I saw a lady at work get a new job making $20K a year more! I really whined and cried then!  But I have to remember, I didn't come this far alone, and He promised never to leave or forsake me.  I have to trust Him but you know what... it is sometimes HARD contrary to popular belief. After all, we are still flesh and blood, with all our failngs and misgivings... OK Melinda. There is YOUR sermon for today.  LOL Love you, Paula!

Susan,  this was the one at my current facility that I thought was a sure thing.  The other one I wont hear about for another couple of weeks.  I guess it is still a possibility.  I do not trust my gut now since my gut was so sure about this one too. Thanks ya'll for the prayers!

All right then! If your gut was so wrong about that job, then maybe that means you will get the other one. We can only hope!! That is, IF it is the right position for you.  I know you would just be the most amazing diva nurse they could every get!

Thats a bummer Paula! But, you know, when one door closes another one opens :-) This probably wasn't the plan for you and I'm sure whatever God has in store for you will be better than you can ever imagine. Keep positive! You're in my thoughts and prayers. April
