my son wished me to thank everyone!!

I spoke with my son Benjamin, and told him how everyone here wished me to thank him for being over there in Iraq and all he is doing. Benjamin asked me to tell everyone that thanks are not needed, that He is doing this, because he believes in our country and because his **hero** is his mother.Whom he will always protect with his very life if needed. ( yessssssssss that made me cry!!!!) And that He wants to make sure everyone in the USA is safe. I also wanted to thank everyone for their kind words, regarding my son coming home for his R&R. I tell him each and every day how proud I am of him, and how much I love him. *hugs* alice

Hi Alice. Tell your son Thank you from one vet to another. I am sorry I haven't answered your email. I don't know what to say except you're still in my prayers. Oh Dang Alice, it made me cry when I read about you being his hero. That was a sweet thing to say, and you know a boy wouldn't say it unless he meant it. You just enjoy him while he is home on r&r. Darlene

He sounds like a real sweetie! I pray that the weather is perfect all during his stay and that he gets to do exactly what he wants to do while he is home. We can never thank him enough for what he is doing. We can only pray for his safety.
