New to the Group

I just signed on to the Web site..... I had my 1st adjustment yesterday...My surgery was on the 3rd of April. I have not had any problems so far but I am afraid to eat now that I have had the adjustment. Is this normal?

Terry, I am so glad to hear of some one from MARYVILLE I live in KNOXVILLE all these wonderful people live in the Nasville Area. I am a RNY Dr. Colquitt. I guess I really can't answer your question about the lap band maybe call the doc or nutrionist. Annrenee

Good morning .. go to the top of this page and click on the word .... forums ,then scroll down to lap band.. there is where you will get all kinds of advice and support for lap band. Most on this and other boards are RNY as this is still the number 1 weight loss procedure ,but us banders are moving up fast I never had any problems eitther and I have had 3 fills so far (small ones) I am down 56 pounds hope to lose 20 more during the summer months . hope to see you soon on the lap band forum! .... we talk about everything under the sun.. problems , kids ,grandkids hubbys , relationships , recipes , and oh.. of course the number one topic lap band surgery and life with the lap band

Hi Terry! Welcome to the TN board. I am glad to hear that you have not had any major problems from your surgery. That is great news. I assume that the fear of eating is normal after that but my only advise is to follow the Drs orders. Good luck and i look forward to seeing you on the boards. Misty
