Guess what?

Hey everyone, I've found a job and finished my first week! I'm working as a support coordinator for an agency in Brentwood that works with the mentally retarded and developmentally delayed. Happy Mothers Day Alyssa, What agency are you working for, and what age group do they serve. I am with the Regional Intevention Program in Nashville. We are a poitive behavior management program for parents and children up to age six. At the moment we have several children who are developmentally delayed. Glad you finished up the first week, and I hope you enjoy the second! Scott

Hi Scott, I work for BGC, Inc. and I think they mainly serve adults, although I do have a 16 year old and a 17 year old on my case load. We do support coordination and coordination of services for the individual. Kind of like case management but a little bit more detailed. I'm very familliar with the RIP program. They do great work with children and families! -Alyssa

Hi Alyssa & Scott! Just wanted to say hello and tell you that I, too, serve families!! I work for TEIS--early intervention for children birth-three with developmental delays, etc. I don't work out of Nashville though, it's the Upper Cumberland district. I have told several families about RIP in the Gallatin area. It's a great program! Rhonda
