HELP FOR SKIN AND HAIRLOSS
I don't want this to sound pitchy just want to share what is out there. Arbonne is a Swiss company that has products that deliver amazing results for skin and hair. I use the skin care line to minimize loose and very dry skin (and help with wrinkles too). Often times with WLS there is hairloss. My hair runs thin naturally ( perhaps the only thing on my body that does) so I have been using the THERMAL FUSION FOR HAIR and my hair has really thickened up. I signed up with Arbonne about a year ago and am so glad I found quailty products that really do what they say they will do. If you have any questions or comments please let me know. If you would like a sample of the Hair fusion or Skin Care line please contact me and I will send you one. www.purebeauty.myarbonne.com

One thing that has helped my skin SOO much is "the lotion". I am not as faithful to it due to being in a hurry lately, but its equal parts of ponds cold cream, olive oil, and lanolin (as found on iherb.com). I couldn't find the lanolin locally so got it off of the internet. It really makes your skin feel really smooth and silky.
My hair dresser wanted me to do Nioxin shampoo and conditioner. I started that and it seems to have helped, but upping my protein daily intake has helped a LOT! My hair really thinned for awhile in one particular spot, and once I upped the protein intake, it got better....
Hey Melinda,
I swear by "the lotion" too. Nothing I have tried works as well on my dry skin as it does and I have used the Arbonne Ginger Citrus Body Butter. While the Arbonne worked okay, it was wa-a-ay more expensive than our lotion and didn't work as well.
For hair, in addition to increasing the protein, I take 5 mg (not mcg) of Biotin every day. I increased my protein and started taking the Biotin prior to surgery and I didn't even experience much hair loss. I have gone through the hair loss when I was dealing with kidney stones so I really believe I would have lost hair post-op if not for the steps I took.
