Hi guys...I posted this on another board as well so hopefully I'll get lots of answers. Hi everyone, got a question about calcium. I noticed this morning that AchievOne has 25% of the daily recommended calcium and it got me to wondering...how do we count the calcium in our food? Say for instance, if I have an AO in the morning and a serving of cottage cheese later...can I drop one of my three citrate lozenges for the day or do we not absorb calcium from food? I eat a lot of calcium rich products like cottage cheese, yogurt, and AO and I take 3 calcium citrate lozenges a day...it would sure save money to be able to drop one every now and then. What's your take on this?

Kym, I will copy your question and send it to my nutritionist, one of them should be able to tell us something. If they don't answer, I have an appt on Thur and will ask them then. Darlene

I've always done 2 calcium lozenges because of the amount of dairy products I eat (I love cheese!) and have never had trouble with my calcium levels. Sometimes I'll do 3 a day if I haven't had any dairy.

oh i meant to add too... you also get calcium in your multi-vitamin. Mine supplies 20% of the daily value and I always have 1 AO a day so I usually have 45% of my DV before 9 am every day...yayy me
