Bless your heart. I hope you feel better real soon. I will keep you & Shelia in my prayers.

Did your surgeon take you off of your antidepressant or did you decide to stop taking it? Most antidepressants can not be stopped suddenly. As you have learned, the hard way I might add, the withdrawal makes the depression worse than it was before you even started the medication. I just came off my antidepressant about 6 weeks ago and I'm 15 months out from surgery.
I hope you get to feeling better very soon. You have enough to deal with in just getting over the surgery without having to deal with medication problems too.
Hi honey, been meaning to call you. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I have been going thru something simular, not taking my medications. Not remembering to take them, and the pain inside and the depression can really get to you. I'm back on most of my medications and starting to feel a little better. There are some you have to be weaned from slowly, others you may be on for the rest of your life. That's me. Don't push yourself to eliminate your medications all at once. Concentrate of getting better first, then see what can be reduced or weaned from. One baby step at a time. There will be a better day, this we promise you. Love Kathy
