I Quit....

I started Steinmart about 3 weeks ago... today I let them know I wouldn't return. It was just too much... perhaps I jumped the gun and never should have started a part time job in the first place... I liked the people, they were all very nice... I liked the discount... but with everything going on at my full time job, I just can't handle all the details and stress.... Having said that, let me ask for your prayers... The only way my job stress is going to go away is to get a new position. They are making me do two positions for no additional money, and honestly I think they are trying to get me to quit... that way they can hire two people at a lower pay rate and won't have to pay my salary... I could be wrong about that... but it seems to be the growing trend. I have my eye on a position, and actually interviewed with the supervisor... the HR rep said he is considering me for a possible opening, and another job as well. So please pray that something will open up, and it will happen SOON! I know Paula is still hunting for a job too. Keep her in your prayers as well for the same thing... a new job quickly!!! Thanks!

I will keep you and Paula in my prayers. I know this was hard for you to decide but I really think you did the right thing...the way your legs were hurting and all...good luck with the job situation...keep us posted.

I know something will come through for you. Hang in there! I know how it is to have to go in each day to a job where you are miserable. Stick it out for as long as you can or until something else comes along. I'm sure it won't be much longer.
